Helping Hands
Thank you for taking the time to take a look at this section of the website. Everyone seems to have a big heart and helping hands at Adobe Bluffs. We are truly lucky. Help comes in many different forms from our hard working staff, eager learning children, watchful eyes, and wonderful volunteers. It comes in the form of time and dedication, love and hard work, and, of course, donations. We truly appreciate all that you do. We know that everyone wants to lend a helping hand to help our children grow. Unfortunately, many of the things that we would like to do aren't free. This page was designed to help us help you find easy ways to help us earn hassle free funds. Please take a moment to browse through some of these ideas brought to you by our staff, PTA and the Foundation. Come back often, as we will continue to do our best to bring you more easy funding opportunities.
| Earn money while every time you go grocery shopping!!! Adobe Bluffs is working with the VONS, Albertsons and Ralphs Grocery Card programs to earn thousands of dollars. It’s not a gimmick. It’s real. Just provide us with your grocery card club cards and that’s it! Schools have earned up to $30,000 dollars.

Ralphs and Vons require an annual registration of your cards in their programs. By filling out and returning your forms, you authorized us to register your card numbers with Adobe Bluffs. In order to keep the funds flowing, save paper and not to hassle you any further, the program chairs will be continue to renew your grocery cards every year. You may change your donation recipient at any time by contacting either company. Thank you for your participation! |

| eScrip not only works in conjunction with the VONS grocery store shopping program. If you register your Macy’s card, and your credit cards you can also earn money for Adobe Bluffs by shopping and eating out. | If you shop at VONS during the summer and purchase products with the big yellow school bus next to it...you earn money for AB!
If you are already registered in the eScrip program, you’re done! The money you earn will automatically be deposited into the eScrip account and sent to AB.

 | Matching programs! Many employers will match your contributions to the PTA and the Educational Foundation. Please be sure to ask your employer if they are willing to lend a helping hand. |
 | The Box Tops program gives Adobe Bluffs much needed funding for classroom supplies. We have the potential to earn up to $20,000 with this program. Cut Box Tops off of General Mills products and bring them to the school and go to the website for valuable printable coupons for you and shop through links to earn even more. | Poway Road of Cars Vehicle Purchase Program | Looking to buy a new vehicle? Shop Poway Road of Cars!
Poway Road of Cars has just announced their Vehicle Purchase Program to support PUSD education. $50 will be donated to the PUSD Foundation when a vehicle is purchased.  | Save your bags, save the planet and make money for AB! All bags must be clean, dry and empty! Plastic shopping and grocery bags of any color, from any store, and any type except black (black printing on the bags is ok) plus newspaper bags and drycleaning bags! Be sure to remove everything from the plastic bags prior to recycling – including register receipts. Produce bags or any bags that have been in direct contact with food because fruits, veggies and other foods tend to contaminate the bags and jam the recycling machines.  | Donate! Before you toss that old file cabinet, bookshelf, desk, table, chair, lamp, etc., why not see if one of our teachers could use it in their classroom first? Send an email to April MacKinnon, (maincajm@san.rr.com) with a description and we'll do our best to find your items a new home. Also, your employer may be able to help by donating items such as outdated letterhead or envelopes, or other papers that our kids could use for scratching and scribbling.
