AB Run2Play 2010Adobe Bluffs will celebrate physical activity during the month of March by holding a fun run on Thursday, March 18th.
AB Run 2 Play is a fun run fundraising event sponsored by the Adobe Bluffs Educational Foundation.
All funds raised will be put directly back into the school. The Foundation works closely with the school and PTA to enhance the quality of education for our children. So far this year, the Foundation has subsidized salaries for our Impact Teacher and PE Assistant plus funded technology and teaching tools in the form of docucams, presenter tools, associated cabling and keyboard covers. There is a long list of items still needed and this event allows the Foundation to continue their much needed support especially with the budget cuts.
We will run on our track (funded by our first Run 2 Play event). All students will participate (with permission below) in the run/walk and will receive a Finishers Ribbon. The top 1st - 5th place division winners will be awarded medals and 6th - 10th place division winners will be awarded special ribbons. Please complete the permission slip at the bottom and return to your child’s teacher by Friday, March 12th so your child may run/walk with their classmates.
We encourage everyone to participate in the fundraising portion but it is optional. Students may “opt out” of the prizes so all of their fundraising efforts will go to the Adobe Bluffs Foundation. Donations are tax deductible.
We will honor students’ fundraising participation by awarding prizes for different levels of monies earned. Please see the back of this flyer, school posters and the Foundation website (
